Lexicon Lambda Question

Just picked up the Lexicon Lambda Desktop Recording Studio from Guitar Center. haven't even tried it out yet! The reviews for it were pretty positive. Anyone used, or tried this out before? If so, how good is it compared to other digital convertors? Thanks!
