Lexicon Omega Probs...

I recently purchased the Lexicon Omega and am having problems. The problem is when I record something the timing is late and off.

Example: I’m recording vocals on track 2 to a pre-recorded music track (track 1), I record the vocals and it seems fine, but when I play it back my timing is late and off. I’m positive it’s not me.

Troubleshooting I’ve tried so far… I’ve installed the latest drivers that Lexicon has put out. I tried using both the ASIO and WDM modes, and I’ve tried different latency settings.

The song only has 2 tracks. My computer is less than a year old, and has 2 gigs of ram, running Vista (which could be the problem, although the Lexicon drivers say they work with Vista)
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Will

I had the same problem with the Omega on Vista on a Dell laptop.
I was playing a guitar solo on a very simple setup, a band in the box
midi file with bass and drums backing tracks. I could not get the timing
to work. I tried evey buffer, latency setting I could based on threads I
    found here and through google.

Oh also this was just last week.

I admit I am brand new to asio settings, but I went and got a line 6
ux1 usb device and it worked right out of the box with asio drivers.
