Light Snake recording oddity

I have Music Creator 3 and i just bought a light snake usb cable. It seems to record fine except that when i push stop it compresses the track to twice the speed which makes my guitar sound like a mandolyn

Anybody else run across this?

We see this a lot with the USB mics, too.
Try changing your driver mode to MME. That seems to help in most cases.
You will probably get some latency, but it is the nature of these devices.
