Line 6 Duoverb + TH2 = Aaaawwww yeah...

So I finally got around to hooking up my Line 6 Duoverb's XLR outs up to my interface. Got some nice crisp clean tones dialed in on it (Channel 1 Line 6 Clean. Channel 2 Highway 100) then I poked around at TH2 (full version) for a little bit. The difference in tone vs. just plugging straight into the interface is spectacular. I could tweak this way more (and intend to) but using the Overloud Custom on one channel and the Brunetti on another with the Tube9 pedal on both is getting a SICK modern metal sound. I am very glad I hung onto this head. It almost got sold in a gear purge a few years ago. I don't think I could get this sounding better even with a mic'd amp/cab.

Woot!

That is all.

BTW those heads are probably going for next to nothing these days. I paid under $300 for it YEARS ago. Sucks for live gigging but really cool for recording.

I've been playing around with a number of combinations. Roland VG-99 in & just using a TH2 cab sim. Also ADA MP-1 as a front end and then into TH2. I haven't recorded with it yet - I'm taking it out thru PA speakers and getting things set up. I'm not selling my amps yet, but it's good enough that I enjoy playing with it. The dumble is my favorite.
