the POD "program" is NOT the sounds of a POD, but the way to communicate with one (i.e. recall presets etc) within SONAR...

    cheers!

I have been looking for a way to call up custom patches for specific tracks with my pod. So supposedly I could use the studioware to tweak my pod 2.0 settings to taste and record a guitar track, then save my settings within sonar in the studioware so if I want to come back and lay something else down with the same tone later I could. Is this correct? Can I do this for multiple guiatr tracks?

I never liked using the POD studioware panel, a much better Line 6 solution is a program called PatchWizard . I've been using it for years, with my POD 2. I even have the .exe installed in SONAR's Tools menu for easy access. A very stable and versatile program for deep editing and as an excellent patch librarian. It has a great looking and easy to use GUI too:
