Line6 POD xt

hey guys, I just got the Line6 POD xt that is equipped with a USB port to connect directly into my computer. My question is, for recording, which option do I choose under Volume Recording Control? Is it "Aux"?

thanks!

I dont exactly know but, I would assume aux, I would just try everything that you could do, you may be able to specify what type of connection your USB is being used for.

Are you talking about selecting "Aux" in the Windows control panel?

When you use the Pod via USB, it functions like a sound card. If it is installed and working properly, then you should be able to just activate the Pod as an input device inside HS, and ignore the setting in the Windows Control Panel.

Using two soundcards simultaneously can work, but it can also cause problems. If you have a decent sound card, it is usually better to plug the Pod into your soundcard via a line-in, and not use the USB hookup. You can always try both routes and see which you prefer.
