Line6 Pod Farm not reading automation in X3

I like to use Pod Farm for my fx. I dont think they're anywhere close on amp Sims but I dont know anyone else that can touch their stomp box fx sims. Yesterday was the first time since going X3 back in December that I have tried to automate some Pod Farm FX, it seems that there is a communication issue between Sonar and the plug-in. It records the automation but the fx doesn't switch as programmed.

I turn on both Automation Write and Read. I also enable the switches, knobs etc in the plug-in. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Hi, I might be able to help you because I use Line 6 also. I tried to automate some effects on my tracks to see what you are talking about and I got the same thing you did. I can see the automated part in the track but don't see or I should say see and hear it kicking in. I never noticed this before because I really have never tried to do this before. It may be that it can't be done. I usually just set up Line 6 as best I can for whatever I am doing and then I'm stuck with it pretty much. There may be others here who know better and that's great, but if not, then I will continue as best I can to work this out with you because I wouldn't mind knowing this myself.
Not much help I know, but you don't find that many Line 6 people on here, at least I don't.

Probably not the issue but is the envelope being overwritten during playback?

As in... are you disabling "Write Automation" when you playback?

Perhaps Sonar and/or PF are set up in such a way that simply playing the track back is writing new automation that of course will be flat because you aren't fiddling with any dials and whatnot.

    Just checking.
