Not yet, and I'll be very busy for the next couple of days for work so there won't be much time to play with anyhow. I'll definitely check out that distressor.

did you get your liquidmix yet?

I LOVE the distressor

It arrived Friday and I've been playing with it quite a bit. The distressor does sound great and so do most of the other emulations. There's another distressor "Copy Cat 3" in their 'Liquid Assets' library that wasn't included with the unit, btw. Haven't tried it yet..

The weird emulation names make it hard to choose based on what hardware is being emulated. During football, I made a list of most of them so I can just search for 'neve' or '1176'. Added photos of most of the original hw units too. It's here if anyone wants to use it: http://www.donstrenz.com/LiquidMix/tabid/71/Default.aspx

I actually tried renaming the emulation files to the actual hardware....didn't work. i'm sure there's some way to do it.

cool utility on your site!

Duojet: I thought about trying to rename the emulation files but then figured it have to be done all over again if/when they update the emulations.

Artsoul: No, I'm afraid not, without actually writing a full-fledged program to do it, or running a web server and .net on you DAW. That was done online with a simple component that lets you simply define fields and layout templates which allowed me to mindlessly copy/paste/upload while watching the football game. A stand-alone program would probably take at least a day of hard work.

I noticed there are some emulations missing from there (a couple of Silverxx/Avalon ones). Maybe they were added to version v2 and weren't documented or something. Will try to figure that out tonight.

Hi,

I am hoping one of you can help me, because I desperately need this to work in the next 12 hours and I am pulling my hair out not being able to sort this out!

I've just purchased a Liquid Mix 32 with the specific intent to use the Copy Cat 2 and 3 emulations. Upon installing the emulations found in LiquidMix download page, I found out that only Copy Cat "1" was included.

A quick search on forums told me that Copy Cat 2 and 3 had to be downloaded from the focusrite "Assets" webpage (tried posting link, but can't on my first 7 days of membership) and added to the "Emulations" folder. However, CopyCat file downloaded here (copyCat.42.zip) is 0 Bytes in size and obviously corrupted! I also tried the same file in assets/compressor_emulations but this only had CopyCat, NO CopyCat 2 and 3. In assets/liquid_channel_compressors I did find files for CopyCat 2 and 3, but they are not for Liquid Mix 32 (it should be a .lcp file and it is a .lqc).

Could you please email me the actual emulation files for Copy Cat 2 and 3?
I would be very grateful.

I hope to hear from you soon.
Many thanks in advance!

Sorry but you can't expect help by digging up a 5 year old thread in a light traffic forum.
I would post this on Gear sluts, there are plenty of threads there about this equipment. ( PS it won;t work on a 64 bit system)
