I guess the ProChannel stuff didn't make the grade....  the buss and channel comps, nor the console emulations.  I guess they're just vague enough to not be an emulation, except for the CA2A

I got K9U a week ago and I was thinking a list of the effects and what they are based on would be great. And throw in all the T-Racks stuff while you're at it. ...and there it is! CCLarry, as Duran Duran said, " you're rockin' the catbox, rockin' the catbox".

No, Cakewalk missed a chance of providing a version that could be used out of the SONAR environment.  Studio One has a great EQ plug that also only works in their environment (AFAIK.)

Cake has missed the boat on BOTH sides...they should have been producing PC Modules like
HOTCAKES after they introduced the PC!!!  Did they?  NOPE....EPIC FAIL.

They should have ported them as VST'S and made them slightly more expensive to the "other guys"!
    Did they?  NOPE...EPIC FAIL.

I don't get it?  Great Product...sit on your a s s  and do nothing...very sad.  They missed a boatload of
cash....they could have been getting ALL of our GAS money...very sad.

However they may be looking at the success of the CA2A and evaluating if doing something like that is worth it or not.  It might also be viewed as an incentive to buy the more expensive X3, instead of just a PC module too.  Depending on what might be created, some more PC modules would potentially be nice.  However, what is currently available covers a lot already.  I'm not sure if offering more flavors of compressors or getting more involved in VST's is really the route Cake ought to really take as well.  Creating items like they have in X3 seems more beneficial in the long run and not competing with all the other VST makers.....maybe.
