Live Streaming with V-Studio 20

Hello,

I own a V-Studio 20 since it came out.. And I hardly had any issues with it.
Really like the effects and the sound quality.

I need some help on setting this up for live online streaming.
For example, I want to be able to stream the sound from the XLR MIC INPUT (with the Compression, Reverb and EQ) as well as whatever song it's playing on the computer (e.g Media Player, Youtube, etc).
So basically, I need to stream though 'one global channel' everything I hear from the PHONES socket.
My OS is Windows 8 64bit
I have tried a few different streaming software, and I have the same problem with everyone of them... It only streams the MIC sound.

Please help me to sort this out. As it is very important for me to be able to do it.
I know this hardware is mostly made for guitarists, but I mostly use it to sing and record vocals.
And not being able to sing over backing tracks while live streaming, is killing me..

Any suggestion is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

    Thank you Goddard.
I have actually heard of virtual cable before. Seen a couple of video tutorials even.. but I'm not convinced.
Was hoping to get a response from someone from Cakewalk, with maybe a simpler solution.

And I would also like to know why is it not possible to have the LINE inputs on the right (e.g. mp3 player), enabled at the same time as the mic input.
This would be an 'ok' solution for the issue.

The VS-20 only supports 2-channel input, and the L+R line inputs are grouped together as a stereo pair (like the internal mic 1 stereo mics are) and not usable along with any other inputs at the same time unfortunately. Only the guitar/bass and mic2 inputs can be used together simultaneously.

Dunno why Roland didn't make it possible to use a single line input in mono along with another mono input, maybe just a design compromise, or maybe they didn't think anyone would ever want to do that.

    Right. That explains it.
Guess I'll be selling mine then. Since it's not of much use for what I need it to.
    Thanks again for your help.
