Dependa on your skill, patience and goals. People have been replacing drums using a variety of techniques and programs for decades. One can take the time to meticulously program the track . Or you can use audio to midi techniques like the melodyne tutorial on the cakewalk blog to generate midi patterns that can be used . With sd3 ad or any other vst drum

Melodyne will do it if the track is very clean. Little or no bleed. There are some software tools out there that will run as a plugin and convert the audio to midi for you in realtime. Drumagog comes to mind.
