Living in Fear

It is always a challenge to get the song that's in my head to appear out of the speakers in front of me. That said, I'm fairly happy with this tune. It's kind of a reminiscent tune about growing up as an innocent kid and then learning more and more about the world and what a crazy place it can be. There are probably a few tweaks I need to do to it, but for now I just need to let my ears rest. Hope you like.

The main backing beat in the beginning was from Rhythmology. I just love the stuff that it produces. The weird Counting effects you here throughout the tune are from a YouTube video I happen to come across titled scary counting sounds or something like that. I knew the minute I heard it I wanted to plug it into a tune.

First thing that struck me was how much this reminded me of Gary Numan. The switchover midstream into a more traditional rock tune is pretty sudden, though I like both parts a lot. I think I'd like a better transition between them, or not, lol.

I think you did a nice job on this, I enjoyed the listen!

Listening to this on Surface Pro 4 so the speakers are not the greatest. Having said that it all sounds good here and love the style. Like Dan has pointed out the transition is a bit sudden and my suggestion would be to put some sound effect in the silence bit, the ubiquitous reverse cymbal through a filter comes to mind.

Interesting background sounds you have, the numbers thing and all. Kind of divided the song into sections. I thought the transitions worked and the vocal stood out well.  I like it.

Other than the already mentioned transition, which really wasn't bad IMO just could be a little smoother, that was a cool tune!  I liked it.  Both halves.    I have no idea what "Rhythmology" is but if the result were those constantly moving rhythmic parts, then yeah, it worked nicely.

Nice song.  Liked both halves.  The transition didn't bother me really.
