Excellent collab, some fine playing here. Those horn samples are particularly good. Tasty guitar work from Bill there.
Nice spacious mix, but lots going on.

    Pass the Tequila!!!

Reminds me of the quinceanero I was at recently.  The only thing missing is the squeeze box, but maybe I'm crossing genres?

    Sí, suena muy buen señor.

I particularly liked the layers of percussion and the horns.  But the piano fit perfectly, the vocals had style, and the little guitar riff at the end was...  muy feliz.

I like it. Everything sounded great. I would take that blues bit off the end that the electric piano did though. I don't think I've ever heard that sound in Latin music.

    Excellent work!!!

Fun listen - lots of good playing going on as well. I love this type of sound. It's put together nicely as well - it reminds me of something I'd hear out west (I have a brother in Las Cruces NM). I particularly like the raw vocals - just like a live band  - a bit rough but delivering the goods.  Super !

    Yea that really bounced along.

Don't know the original but I loved how there were many subtle sections i.e. the brass/guitar/piano each had their highlight.

Very good, Ed!  I love this style of music, and this sounds very authentic.  It has an organic feel that makes me feel that I'm right there in the room with the band.  I can see using a mix like this to compare other mixes to.  Keep em coming.
