Loading Adobe Acrobat to DAW any Issues?

I just received my copy of Cakewalk Synthesizers from Presents to Power User. First let me say that this is a long overdue and fantastic book, filled with just about everything you need to know to get the most out of Cakewalks synths. There are additional chapters for download from the publisher's site that are in Adobe Acrobat format. In the past I have avoided loading Acrobat to my DAW (I pretty much avoid loading anything to that not music related i.e. programs and VSTs) because I read on the forum that some folks loaded Acrobat and it caused numerous issues/conflicts with their music programs. So I've avoided loading till now and printed out manuals and other info that come with software. But I was wonder whether other folks have loaded Adobe with creating problems and conflicts on their system? I'd love to save a few trees and not print stuff out and just open the docs on the DAW. Has anybody loaded Acrobat and had or not had issues?

acrobat reader suffers a little from bloatware, you could always use foxit reader, it uses less resources and loads faster.

Thanks for the tip Syrath. I'll assume you've used it without any clashes /issues with Calkwalk or VSTs.

Thats good to hear. I downloaded a copy of foxitreader, I do like programs that are less resource intensive and will give this one a try. Thanks again.

Alternatively, you can use the following website to print your chapters so that you don't have to install any software yourself:

    http://www.printfu.org/

Someone (i forget who) posted this in one of the recent topics. I have not used yet but plan to next time I need to do large printing jobs.

Thanks for the tip. But I'm trying to avoid using a lot of paper. I installed foxitreader as Syrath suggested and it works just fine. Thanks again.
