Loading new patterns into Studio Instrument Drums

Hello someone,
Is there a way to load a folder, or loose MIDI patterns without a folder, into SI drums? I am aware of the "programdata" folder in
Windows C drive, but when I dropped a folder of MIDI patterns for drums into SI in programdata, SI doesn't see it when opened as a VST in a DAW. Any help! THanks much!

I did not think it was possible to extent the MIDI patterns for SI Drums but it is possible. Just to be safe, I moved the patterns.lst file to another directory. The I added a folder with a MIDI loop in it. When SI Drums started up it scaned the Patterns directory and built a new lst file. This is the file used by SI Drums to build the pattern pick list in the UI. The new folder and loop  were available in SI Drums. I think it will work as long as the directory structure is as simple as the ones included with the plug-in.

scook, I'll give that a try. (Later ...) It works! Fantastic! THis brings this VST way up, closer to EZ Drummer and such. The degree of flexibility has been magnified. Much thanks scook!
