Location of Pertinent Control Surface Files

I had to recently re-install WIN 10 and my computer programs because of a 'forbidden installation' box that kept coming up when installing Corel Painter 2019.  Something was amiss that multiple remote connections with Windows tech and Corel Techs couldnt find.  So I took the time to get a new SSD for my C:/ drive and reinstalled all programs on the clean drive.  All is working well now with Corel, Sonar and CbB.

I did make a copy of my old C:/ drive before removing it.  I should know this, and I am too lazy to redo all my control surfaces in CbB, but where are and what are the pertinent files for control surface setups?  I was also using Alexey's AZController as well.
Any pointers are most appreciated!
thanks,
Bart

    Try C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Surfaces.

    %appdata%\Cakewalk\Shared Presets
If you have used dynamic mappings: %appdata%\Cakewalk\ACT Data

Where %appdata% is usually C:\User\<name>\AppData\Roaming (AppData is a hidden folder, you will need to type it explicitly or change explorer options).

Note that I have not tried to copy this way. Safe approach is export/import using Cakewalk Plug-in Manager from the Tools menu, just for the next time you move things...

You also need to copy %AppData%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core\ctrlsurface.dat

    Try C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Surfaces.

This contains the actual control surface DLL's themselves.

These can't just be copied around, as they're COM objects... so they also need to be registered on the command line using regsvr32.

The Cakewalk installer should do this for you, for the stock ones anyhow.

Thanks to all.  this has given me a few places to look, and I did manage to import the .spp files with AZcontroller.  This gets me back using TouchOSC for self recording a few yards back from my computer.
