Locking Clips together? Grouping clips? How to...

I'm not sure what the terminology is in Sonar/DAW.  If I want to move a group of clips from multiple tracks - for instance to add an introduction to a song - I can accomplish this by selecting all the clips I want and then using the move tool to move them.  Is there a way that I can just lock them together so that I don't have to go through that process every time?  Ideally, if I select one of the clips within a group it would automatically select all the clips within that group as well...

I'm a graphic designer and I'm looking to do what I can do in photoshop where I lock a bunch of layers together in order to move them as a group (locked relative to each other) through the space...  Make sense?

yes, you can group the clips you want. You can automatically group takes on record or make them a part of a group. I do not have the DAW up right now for specifics, but I have done this. And no rasterization needed.  :)

Select the clips, right-click one of them, and choose Create Selection Group.
