Lonely Road - Scandalous Grace
This is a song I wrote many years ago. I decided to pull it back out, dust it off a bit and put a new shine on the song with the help of my band mates. I was really happy with the excellent performances of both Sean and Reece, this song now sounds new and fresh. Hope you enjoy. As always, all comments are welcome. Lonely Road: https://soundcloud.com/michaeljhanson/lonely-road Performed by Scandalous Grace Words & Music: Michael Hanson Sean Peifer: BG Vox, Electric Rhythm, Guitar Solo. Michael Hanson: Lead Vocal, Bass, Electric Rhythm, Drum Programing, Mixing and mastering. Reece Bain (Beagle): Keys and BGVs.

Appreciate the listen Daryl. Good to hear that the mix sounds balanced. This was my first in Studio One, trying to learn a second DAW, just in case. Not being that familiar with the program, I was hoping at least my ears hadn't changed.

Mike, I'm glad you drew my attention to this song. At first, I thought I was listening to the Smithereens because of your lead vocal. All the performances are top notch, and the mix is clean and robust. All I would change is to boost the vocal a db or two, and this would really rock out. You guys just keep getting better all the time.

Hey Lynn- I've been really busy and I'm just getting back on line tonight. I appreciate the listen and comments. I've never really listened to the Smithereens, but you may have me looking them up now. I normally just get labelled...Petty. Rocking out was the goal; I'm finding new joy with the new LP.
