I get most of my kit from them, friendly people, quick and efficient. So far never had to send anything back. Most of their guitars play "out of the box", with little tweaking.

Oh, and BTW, I'm jealous !!!

    Nice one.

    Cheers,

Nice one, Jonesey. You're gonna love those P-90s. One suggestion though is I would buy some machine heads to replace the ones that come with it. Those classic styles are very finicky and break quite easily and they are SUPER expensive to replace. I'd take them off and keep them in a safe place for if you ever want to pass it along to someone as an heirloom. The reason I say this is I've had them explode on me at very inopportune moments (like the night before leaving on tour). The back literally pops off of them and the mechanisms become useless as the cap holds it all together and the is no way to repair them. If you get the right substitutes it shouldn't affect the tone and will probably be easier to tune/keep in tune. Also, does your wife have a sister? One who's into crotchety old weirdos? :-)

Well, my resistance lasted for about an hour.

I simply had to plug her in and tune up - and I've been playing non stop for an hour.

What can I say? I'm blown away by the depth & quality of the this thing! I'm only running it through the Pod but that gives me the opportunity to experiment with different setups, just by running through the stock presets & some of my own creations, and I've already found a sound I was desperately trying to achieve with my other guitars which were no nowhere near it.

    I think I'm inspired already......

@CC... Hello. If it's not gonna get played too hard or often or see much gigging it should be okay but if Bristol is anything like me those suckers are gonna wear out. Just my opinion. That night was horrifying. I was practicing up for the tour and POP! 3 in the morning and we were leaving first thing the next day. Fortunately I was able to raid one off one of my old acoustics until I could figure out some proper replacements. Total PITA.
