Looking For Some Mixing Criticism...

Hi there,
This is a short "cover" I recorded for someone that asked me to make him a ringtone.

The original song is Gnarls Barkley - Crazy.
The lyrics are in my native language and they basically say:
"I rememeber when, I rememeber,
when you used to push the Send,
when I didn't have to nag...bla bla bla...
Answer me...
Answer me...
Answer me..."

Anyways, Looking for some mixing tips, or mixing flaws rather :)

Especially, although most of you don't know the language, do the vocals come through the mix clearly through out the whole "song" ? or maybe they come a lil' too strong? The right vocals level always gets kind of confusing after listening to your project for about a gazillion times ;-)

 Thx,ZBBZ.

BTW - Somethings is wrong with the damn forum software so there are no line seperations just continuous text...

EDIT: Fixed. all of the sudden the forum software stopped supporting FireFox, had to use IE for this. Freakin' ASP programmers...

That was a lot of fun.

The drums need to come up; there are certain parts when the vocals come in that they get a little lost.

The vocals have too much presence to them, and they are fighting with the guitars. Eq out some of the 300-500hz range on them.

Thanks James. By "lost" you mean the vocals are not loud enough ? there are three sliding guitars that have there mid notched already. you mean the vocals are fighting with the main rhythm guitar?

The drums are getting swamped by the vocals. There was a perceptible dip in the beat on certain phrases...signs of a mix problem or too much compression.

Alright Guys, I tried to make some improvements:

    1) I Re-Bussed the sliding guitars and EQed their Bus, I forgot to silence the original audio :) now there's mainly high frequencies of them, leaving room for everything else, also re-panned them...
2)I polished some of the midi/vst sounds/velocities etc.
3)I removed some of the compression and leveled up + saturated some of the tracks - mainly the drums bus.
4)played with some other small tweaks("stereoed" the FX in Guitar Rig for better quality sounds and stuff like that).
    5)are the drums to loud?
    here's the improved version:

    Improved?

    I made some more improvements:
    -removed some compression
-tweaked the midi notes for velocity and also vst sounds
-rerecorded the vocals and added one for harmony.
    -other stuff :)
    how is it now mixing-wise?
BTW - Sorry for DPing, if no one responds this will be my last one :)
