you have to configure them all the same to get a better perspective.
otherwise you are not comparing correctly.
the platinum daw is too drive heavy (unless you really need that drive set up)
better look at the gold from studio cat (more on the normal side)

many items not mentioned on 2 of the sites. IE Power supply brand, size, video brand, model
    fans? case and cpu.
    memory brand CL ratings?
Rain and Jim do not offer back up imaging software (like Paragon)
rain you have to add $299 warranty to get any kind of support/warranty ($3000 for rains system a full $1000 more than the other 2)
where i know us and Jim have real support.

rain does not offer the 4.5GHz like Jim and I.
the 3rd option should not even be there :-)

to use to compare to Jims Gold studio.
pretty much the same price when you factor in the obvious differences.

    cant go wrong either way

If you haven't already, check out the Cakewalk DAW Labs website.  There you can find a wealth of information from Cakewalk tech labs on their experience with computers from different manufacturers.

FWIW, We recommend True Image (or Paragon) to all our clients.
We're happy to install it... or we can step the client thru the install process.
Every DAW we build is backed up via image file.

The "Platinum" machine is based around a configuration I like to use in my studio DAW.
I like having a large fast boot HD... (going with a smaller drive doesn't save much)
I like having dedicated 1TB "Audio" and "Samples" HDs.
The 2TB RAID-0 is nice for the most demanding disk-streaming sample libraries (our own Jet-City for instance - where each drum hit streams 8-channels of 24Bit/96k audio).
This provides loads of speed/flexibility... and with today's low conventional HD prices... the cost is pretty reasonable.
"Short-stroking" the RAID-0 array yields 230-260MB/Sec sustained... which is in SSD territory (with a lot more space)for under $200.
This configuration is overkill for many scenarios (especially if you're not using any of the larger disk-streaming sample libraries).
