Looking for a simple, 64-bit compressor plugin
I was using and liking Block Fish, but it doesn't work well in 64-bit. Does anyone have any simple compressors in 64-bit. Thanks Tom

So I was curious and loaded up Blockfish on a drum bus and tried it out. Seems to work well here. What problems are you seeing with it in 64 bit? I have JBridge also, but Blockfish loaded straight up under bitbridge and seems to work correctly here. I guess the only other simple compressor that comes to mind is SONAR's own Sonitus compressor but I think that is Dx(?)

I can't add presets in the drop down and the ones that I save to a file won't reload. t

Usually just set it up where I want it after pulling down one of the 8 or 9 default presets as a starting point.

Hi Tom Have you tried the Pro Channel's 1176 or SSL models? They're pretty decent...

This might not fit your bill, But I'm using Izotope Alloy a lot. It's 64 bit and allows side chaining and parelel compression. Of course you get a couple of other plugins with it, but they are also good.

I think that I am going to take Jim's advice and try the pro channel. I would like to learn how to use it anyway. What Blockfish did was bring the sound right out front with very little knob turning and expertise. I am sad to give it but I would like to use the pro channel more. Thanks t
