Looking for some help with editing

Hey fellow SONARites,

I am completely buried right now and I am about to drown. I would like to test the waters here to see if anyone would be interested in helping me with an editing job.

I have raw multi-tracked drums that need chopped and quantized. I know, you lose the human feel if you quantize, but the customer is always right. They pay, I do what they want.

This budget is super tight, I am sorry. I can pay $40 per song that you complete. I can do this very well, but I just don't have enough time right now to meet all my deadlines.

All work needs to be done in SONAR (Platinum preferred). We transfer files back and forth via my FTP server. I pay with Paypal or by mailing a check.

To quantize, these need to be chopped, just like Dan Gonzalez outlined in a Cakewalk blog a while back about editing multi-track drums. Sorry, but no stretching on this one, chopping only.

Anyone interested? Please let me know. I didn't know what forum this would be most appropriate for so I hope I am ok posting this here.

Thank you
-Charles

I'm guessing you need this sooner rather than later. Unfortunately (well it's awesome for me) I am already doing some work for another fellow but hope to have it wrapped up in a few weeks. Maybe less. If you still need it done at that point I could give it a crack. I am very meticulous with stuff like this and would make sure it is exactly how you want.

    Cheers.

Thanks Beep. I'm not getting a lot of interest here. I know this would be seen more in the main SONAR forum, but I want to remain respectful of the forum categories. Let me know when you are free and if I have any more of this, I'll send it your way.

If anyone else is free sooner and interested, please let me know.

    Thank you,
    - Charles

Cool, man. I'll put a fire under my butt (or at least a hotter one). However even though this subforum doesn't get as many eyeballs on it as the main Sonar forum the pros seem to hang out here. I'm sure someone will come along soon enough. If not maybe one of Danny's (Danzi) guys could whip it off for you if it's an emergency.

I'll send you a PM if I get my current project wrapped up quickly.

    Cheers.

I would be interested Charles. I'm away from my Daw until Sunday night though. I could start then or on Monday. if that's not too late for your time issues. Just pm me.
