My set up is a bunch of old stereo integrated amps. I grab them from the Pawn shop and garage sales. Some are in very excellent shape, vintage stuff! you can't buy this quality anymore.
I then run a loop using the tape monitor in/outs. This is only one mix.
If a player wants more me then the band mix loop goes to a personal mixer plus an aux feed from the recording desk is used. But mostly they get their instrument into the personal mixer directly. Like all Bass/ Guitar DI's have 2 outputs. Keyboards, lots of outputs
Guitar amp, just put a second mike on it, Singer, I often just use an XLR splitter as the vocals will be redone always anyhow. Drummer seems happy with the main mix which I set up with lots of kick and snare anyhow. I would love to simplify but once it's set up it's always there ready to go. That way I get to focus on Sonar and the band can play with their own monitor mixes all they want and leave me alone.
So in place of a fancy headphone amp, a couple of stereo amps and a few small ( or large) mixers. You can pick up a small 4 channel mixer pretty cheap these days.
Oh, make sure you have your grounding figured out or you'll get a hum.
