Looks like a "False Positive" from Avast this am...

For those of us using Avast Anti-Virus, the latest update has identified a rootkit (sfloppy.sys located in the "\system32\driver" folder) this morning, which is also been reported by many many users. Still using XP along with Avast? Then the chances are excellent you will see this warning. More info here:

False positive: sfloppy.sys

This has not been confirmed by Avast yet, although many users have scanned this file extensively without any problems being reported. Don't be too quick to delete the file as recommended by Avast in its popup warning. This really looks like a false positive.
