Loop timing

Hi: I recently got a TC Helicion Play Acoustic and on the learning curve. It has some great features. Being new to looping - either for vocal or guitar - I need some advice on getting down the timing of my loops -  So far I am struggling getting my loop so the playback is seamless without a quick pause happening - ARG ! To my ears it sounds like I "stop" the recording at the right time - but the playback of it has that damn pause before re-cycling - Just enough silence to wrench me!. The videos I watch look so effortless and sound seamless - Any advice will help me.  Thanks - Charles

I've never used one but is there some kind of sync mode whereby you can quantize the start and end points of the loop to a BPM? Also have you tried asking on the TC Helicon forums? They seem to be pretty active: http://support.tc-helicon...s/21577876-Play-Series

I will have to look into a sync mode - don't recall seeing that in manual. Yes I should check out the forum more - trying too cover a few bases at a time.  That is where I looked at a few videos.  Thanks.
