Looping of midi sequence not working.

Audio clips loop fine, what I mean is the clip can be changed from clip to groove clip and be extended by dragging the edge, the manual says that midi clips should be able to do the same after enabling the groove clip looping .
I have Sonar Home Studio 7 XL,Windows XP.
I have had it awhile and been working around the problem, thought I would give you guys a try.
Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

what exactly is it doing, tho?  can you select "groove clip"?  do the ends of the clip turn to the groove clip cuts?  can you not drag it with your mouse?  tell us more about the EXACT things that are happening or not happening.  remember we can't see what you see.

When I add a midi sequence to the project and hit Groove clip looping it does not bevel the edges so I can drag or move the clip.
    Hope this explains it better.
Thanks for the interest and I hope you will stay tunded.

Ok, when you say you "hit" groove clip looping - are you right clicking on the loop and choosing groove clip looping from the menu?  or by highlighting the clip, then choosing EDIT>GROOVE CLIP LOOPING?

does it give you a message of any kind?

how big is the MIDI clip?  did you copy this clip from another clip?  is it LINKED to the previous clip?  I don't think you can groove clip if it's linked to another clip (although I could be wrong about that, not sure)

Where did you get the MIDI sequence? Is the MIDI sequence already a Groove Clip? If so, by clicking Groove Click looping, you're turning off the groove clip.
