Loops sound different when auditioning in media browser to on actual track

Assuming a loop is inserted on a clean audio track without any effects added or pro channel turned on, what might make a loop sound different (tonally) when inserted into a track than when it is auditioned in the media browser.  I'm new to audio loops, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something since I'm experiencing this.  I'm using Cakewalk Loops of Hazzard steel guitar loops.

Thanks,
Steve

On the browser there is an output bus option. It's possible that it's set to a different one of your busses.

Thanks for the idea, but that wasn't it either.  I did find answer:  In the clip properties there is an option to "follow pitch," a handy option if the clip isn't the pitch of your song.  This will change the pitch of the original clip.

    Thanks EE for the response.
