Loss of Audio Drivers

Hey Folks

This is gettin' old...I'll have everything set up and get a project done, leave it for a few weeks, come back to work on it or add to it and ALL my audio drivers disappear.  Problem is - I don't remember how I got them back the last time. All drivers are up to date.  My computer is running Windows 7 on a dual core AMD processor with the appropriate memory.  I'm using a Behringer XENYX1204FX mixer and a M-Audio Delta 44 for my input and monitoring. I don't know if its Windows doing this damage or what! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!!

    Do you mean they are no longer shown in the Audio Options Drivers tab? Options>Audio>Drivers.

    What driver mode are you using? ASIO? Options>Audio>Advanced tab.

    When using ASIO mode you need to make sure all other audio devices are disabled because ASIO only allows one active audio device.

    If you are using the WDM/KS driver mode, run the Wave Profiler in the audio options. Then go to the drivers tab and UNcheck all the audio devices you aren't going to use. This includes any onboard sound devices built into the computer or cheap pci soundcards.
