Loss of Audio when slip editing during playback

Hi - I didn't see anything related to this on the impending X1b patch - has anyone encountered Sonar audio dropping out (I assume the audio engine freezing) when slip editing during playback?  I've encountered it a few times now.  Restarting Sonar restores audio.

I'm running Sonar X1a PE 64 on Win7 64 w/ RME Fireface UFX via Firewire on a Dual quad core Xeon 3.2 Ghz CPUs, 8 Gbytes RAM, Nvidia quadro FX1700 - latest drivers on everything.

Thanks!
Russ

I have had similar Problems . Only suggestion is to wait for X1b and hope.. With out a doubt it's not your system.  Do you Own 8.5.3? and dose this happen? , I bet Not.. Just wait a few more weeks, Hopefully CW has done a great deal with the way ASIO works in X1. As of right now I crash non stop while trying use ASIO drivers. Perfect in 8.5.3 , I can use WDM with alot less crashing but the Lag is way to much to be considered as usable when recording.
Your Sound card on the other hand shouldn't have this problem, Your using an RME UFX ( solid drivers), and I don't see many having trouble , but than again some people who have my card are not having any problems at all and I'm just having the worst time with x1 so aggravating .

Ok thanks - good to know it's not just me!  :)  I'm hoping it's resolved in X1b - I just purchased the RME unit mainly because of their driver stability.

I do own 8.5.3, but completely wiped my machine for a 'clean build' when installing X1a along with the new RME interface.  I'm a hobbyist musician, so can live with the bumps of X1 until they're rectified.

    Thanks!
