Loss of Automation Capability

Hi,

For some reason my SHS7  automation has stopped working.  I can still record, modify, and move the envelope, but it does not move the faders.   I tried a new method of creating automation envelopes by using quick group and moving the fader at the start and end. I then removed the quick grouping, and edited each envelope manually.    When done, I played the project, and no automation.
I have had automation working on other projects with no problem.

Thinking maybe something to do with using the quick group maybe?    Not sure.    Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,
The Badger

    UPDATE

I deleted the entire project, and started from scratch.   I have automation for the first guitar track working, using same method I have always used.   When I try to automate the next track, the envelope is developed, and I edit the automation points (exactly like I did for the guitar track), but when played back, fader is NOT automated.   I checked the properties, and read enable is checked.

I at a loss as to why this is happening.   Previous projects with automation are still functioning properly.

    Any suggestions?

    Further Info

I have ACT/Learn button in transport enabled and automation write enabled on the track as well.   When editing I leave the ACT/Learn button on until editing is done, then disable.

I figured someone would ask about this so I put the info up.

    Thanks,
