Lost MIDI CC Data

Hello,

I was wondering, how does Sonar save the CC mappings to synth parameters?
I saved a project file on my old desktop, built a new desktop, re-installed everything and expected all my CC mappings to stay.  Now these are not doing anything because they are not mapped anymore to the synth parameters.  I thought these were saved into the project, no?  Now I have to figure out what goes to what :(

Control change mappings are stored in INSTRMAP.INI and master.ins once they have been defined using instrument definitions. These are set up under preferences>midi>instruments and are global settings.

These maps not being present should not stop the controllers from working however. They just wont have device specific labels.
