Lost Studio Instruments Suite

I have SONAR X3 Producer.
I have lost access to the Studio Instruments suite. I use SI Bass Guitar a lot.
When I open Cakewalk Plug In Manager the SI instruments are found in the section vst audio effects. I wouldn't think they would be there.
The vendor field is = blank and the vst id =0.
They also do not appear in the Browser option Insert Synth - VST2 like they used to.
I have tried Preferences -VST Settings- Reset & Rescan to no avail.
I can see the dll file in (for example) the directory c:\program files\cakewalk\vstplugins\SI-Bass Guitar\SI-Bass Guitar.dll and the path c:\program files\cakewalk\vstplugins exists in the preference area.
I note that the directories under c:\program files(x86)\cakewalk\studio instruments are empty (for example multisamples\bass samples\).
Shouldn't there be files in there? If so, how do I get them back from the installation files I originally downloaded.
I have previous versions of X1, X2 & X3 that I am trying to install on another PC to compare but I am having difficulties retrieving serial numbers etc since Cakewalk has moved to the new login model.
Thank you for your help.

This is the path for 32 bit . This will only be populated if you've done a separate 32 bit install

Which version of X3 are you running? If you haven't done so already update to X3e immediately

    Thanks for your reply.
My OS is 64 bit and I am running X3e build 352 -x64

Note: The problem only started when I tried to uninstall X3 Studio that was installed on the same computer.

It's a possibility that removing X3 Studio has hosed some shared paths and/or files

    I would do a full uninstall/reinstall

I had also lost Studio Instruments a while back with the X3e upgrade patch for some reason.

I had gotten them back by a custom install from the original X3 installation files by deselecting everything but the SI suite and that resolved the issue.

    Hope that helps... Good LUCK..
