Lost VST's, interface not recognized, older projects not playing correctly

Hello, I just upgraded to X1 producer from home studio and I'm having some problems. When I tried to open ezdrummer under the "insert-soft synths" tab in x1, I did not see a vst option. When I tried to add ez drummer in preferences vst settings, I couldn't get it there either. I removed all folders in the VST scan folders box and hit reset all vst plugins, and now all my studio instruments (strings, bass, true pianos, electric piano, dimension pro) are gone from the list and the synth list. How do I get all my instruments back on and ez drummer too? I also am having trouble with my interface, I have the v-studio 20 interface, which worked fine with home studio, but when I close x1 and try to reopen it, the interface is not recognized. I have to restart the computer for the interface to be recognized by x1 again, and if I close out x1 and reopen, the interface is not recognized again. HELP!
