Lost my scrolling now time

Figuring out the little nuances are the hardest part (Sonar Power doesn't cover everything).

So, how do I get the nice old scrolling horizontal bar that shows the real time now time?  It seems like a line follows wherever I point my pointer, I can't make it lay down and follow the song like I'm used to.

Thanks in advance for the help and with the many questions I've already posed.

a few things can be the culprit.
one is your scroll lock key on the keyboard(the one your typing on) see the scroll lock key ?
sometimes we hit it by mistake.

    2) theres a setting in the track view controls under views.
this will stop scrolling or start scrolling options.

    3) its most likely this one...if you make an edit while sonars nowtime is moving you will freeze the scrolling and it will lock up.to solve this just right click on the timeline where your magnifying glass appears when your using the zoom feature.
sonar does this on purpose because it thinks you want it to stop scrolling so you can edit that part of the song.
there is also a setting in the trackview to make scroll locking during edits or keep moving.
    there under views.

    good luck.

I restarted Sonar which brought it back.

I had the same problem recently. The Now Time disappeared from Track View altogether. Switching to a different screenset didn't make any difference. It was still present in other views, e.g. PRV, but missing from TV. It went back to normal after shutting down and re-opening Sonar.

I have trouble with the Now Time vertical line not appearing in the PRV, along with the dotted vertical line that appears when you don't click first.

It appears during playback, then disappears when stopped.

If I screw around with it enough it may come back (seemingly) out of the blue.

I might be wrong but are you talking about the Aim Assit in X2? If it is then it is in Edit.

Thanks dan le. So I was talking about two different things without realizing it.

Aim assist appears to work fine, but I do still lose the Now Time vertical line in the PRV.
