So, will the debuzzer by an add-on you have to buy later?

(Or did I just misunderstand the topic title?)

Hmm...  I guess if it's all positive buzz that you could flip the phase to remove it, ya?

(I bet the Bakers didn't think of THAT when they made their little promotion now did they??!)

I couldn't find an exact date, but my impression is that X2 will be released at the end of Sept. and if you buy it before it's released, you should be eligible for this.....+ you get to download X2 a day before the official release. However, you can immediately download the DSF samples and this is only for the Producer Edition customers.

Maybe someone could confirm the actual date?

X2 not only has all the buzz included, but you get a lot of fluff with it too!! A complete package it seems.

If you have pre ordered the in your account there is the serial number for X2 with a download link which informs me that X2 will be available in September.

Approximately 24 days left, if their track record is anything to go by possibly the 29th more like the 30th.

I have EWQLSO so I have no need for more 'orchestral' sounds. I don't even install that anymore or Dim Pro.
I'll order next week when check comes in. If I get the freebie so be it. If not.......not an issue.

It's subjective, but it seems to me that the forum buzz over X2 is nowhere near the fever pitch it was for versions 6, 7 and 8. Maybe it's just me who's become jaded, maybe it's the lingering fallout from X1's anticlimactic release, but I just can't seem to muster any excitement over this one.

8.5 was the last "true" stable version and I think X1 has evolved quite well from it's initial release to be just as stable. Dave, are you on X1 or 8.5? I've used X1 on an older machine (32bit system) and it has been a very good experience.

X2 seems to be a more enhanced version of X1 and for me personally (looking ahead), I've been planning on building a 64bit machine that can utilize a lot of the capabilities that X2 has to offer. RAM being my biggest issue, my current system just can't be keep up with what I'd like to do. I'm at a point where I'll have to keep up with technology.....besides, I'm like kid in a candy store when it comes to getting brand new schtuff......."stable" GAS.

Not even over a free strings library for Dim Pro?

Oh wait, you have to pre-order X2 from X1 to get that (IIRC).
