Leadfoot,

Like your take on this, vocals are really good.  Guitars might be a hair too out front, particularly during the chorus'  but pretty good overall.   That said, I like your heavier version better than the original:)

Hey Bob, this is fantastic! Love your guitar tones and the vocals are superb, you have a great rock voice.

Like the mix a lot too, the placement of the synths with the guitars is really good.

If you were thinking about another '80s rock cover sometime, may I suggest Midnight Blue by Lou Gramm?

Hey Mark! I agree about the guitars. As I said in the OP, I just threw this thing together. I kept the first take on everything and just quickly mixed it. Maybe I should make a more serious effort with it, considering people seem to like it. :) I appreciate you listening man!

Hey James, thank you so much for the kind words man! Lou Gramm, huh? I'm not sure I could do him justice. Midnight Blue might be doable though. His earlier stuff in Foreigner was just incredible. That guy definitely has some pipes. Thanks a lot for listening man!

Late to the party again...     Yeah, I agree the mix could use some tweaking.   But your version of this song freakin' rocks.  Vocals are a standout, got some power there.

Well this is way better than the original.  I know you were just messing around but I really dug the performances in this.  My question is when and how in the hell did you manage to get Chris Cornell to do the vocals on this?  Fits perfect and sounds great.

Hey Voda! Thanks for checking it out man. I'm glad you liked it! I only WISH I could sing like Chris Cornell! He was one of baddest ass vocalists ever, and one of my top 3 favorites. I really appreciate comparison though, however undeserved it may be. I always appreciate your input though, cause I know you don't BS(not that others do...). Thanks again man!

Hi Leadfoot,

Really amazing vocals man!

Never heard the original but if it is as good as this version then it must be pretty hot.

Good Job!

yea!
dig this.
it's obviously not copping the original sound,
much heavier,
a great tune to select to cover.

like the vocal performance. you're digging in,
can we add more crunch to the guitars?>!

Hey bats! I totally agree about the guitars. They suck. I finished this song in one day, and didn't bother retracking anything. It was just for fun. But thanks to the positive response I've gotten on the songs forum, I'm seriously thinking about redoing some of the tracks to make it sound better. I'll post it when I'm done. I appreciate the kind words man!
