RLD ...

Starts out like a Santana tune .... Almost sounds like a late 60's TV show theme. I think you nailed this one well!!!!! Great playing, Great feel to it.

Yeah, really digging this one. Nice use of Dynamics ( Take it down ... bring it back up again) ... Very commendable ... ( This is so often overlooked on so many songs here )

TAP!...Thanks for tappin' into my tune.
I appreciate your comments my friend!

Good work. I like the song and the mix works well her at the office on my cheesey speakers. I'm sure ti will translate well to other systms.

I like the feel of this and the mood is dramatic. Its like rock and roll with a bit of Tango feeling. Very punchy..

Good luck on the placement

Thanks Tom,
I'll keep my eyes peeled for a Tango listing...ya never know

I haven't been hanging around here but stopped by tonight and saw you had a song on page one, being a fan of yours I had to give it a lesson.

Love it, the vocals are so stylistic and sound great. For a movie, I can definately hear it. Congrats.

Thanks for the listen Frank...I hope the music supervisor for the project thinks it fits as well.

I can't stand Franz Ferdinand but I love this what is with that?

I can hear the comparison, but the vox are much better and the instrumentation is tighter and more considered in the context of the tune which is a great one btw.

Completely top drawer throughout. Kudos.

That's a great song and some awesome sounds. What do you use for drums ? How do you record your bass ?

This was pretty bad ass. Truthfully, this song is probably my new favorite from you. I've listened to most (if not all) a while ago. I don't remember this one. There seems to be more of you and less strategy on this song.

Thanks D.

I must say "SWEET"!!! I like it. Very cool rock groove. Interesting throughout. Your vocal reminds me of a band called Fastball which is a group I like quite a bit.

Thanks for sharing,
Tom

Fastball...yep, I recall I liked 'em.
Thanks Tom.

Ha ha...I think they have a couple catchy numbers..."Get to Know You"?...or something in the new iphone commercial.
Thanks Jon.

Hi Mitch,
I believe I used Groove Agent for drums on this...and bass was just a standard pic bass sample from a Roland sound module.
In other words, midi data entered from a keyboard triggering samples.
Thanks.

Hi, RLD,

Darned impressive song, arrangement, and recording. This is different from other songs of yours that I've listened to, which speaks to your abilities as a composer.

This song is smoking hot, totally radio friendly and catchy. I am humbled by your abilities as both a songwriter and player/singer. Incredible job.

Best regards,
Bill
