WHAT'S FOR LUNCH??
my sweetie brought me a plate of homemade goodies
2 pieces of bbq chicken
potato salad
mac n cheese
baked beans with onions and goodies
lots of carbs, I know, but heck, sure was tasty,
whats on your mit-tag essen plate?
Mmmmmm sounds yammy.
I brought some rice & curry with s-picy lamb kabobs (+ a bag of (non-gmo) jalapeno chips).
Speaking of food......over the weekend (for my wife's B'day gift), we had a chef that came to our home that bought the groceries, cooked it, served us, and cleaned up the kitchen. My wife was craving Cajun food, so we had jambalaya, shrimp cocktail, and beignet's (with chocolate sauce).
It was really fun as my 2 oldest girls kept him company, took notes (they both love to bake/cook), and he did some really good impressions of Mickey Mouse characters which my son loved......apparently, a trait he developed from working at Disneyworld for 20+ years.
I got my acoustic out and he joined us in the living room for some festivities which was equally fun.....he actually had a good voice as he sang in some chorale. All in all, everyone enjoyed the evening.......and the best part was it was in the comforts of our home. :)
