Me too.....after listening to that, I just let Youtube go to the next video and heard a bunch of 80's songs (some good/some cheesy) and enjoyed hearing them after so long.

'New Wave' is a broad church, who are some of your favourites? A genre I could never get into was what they now call 'post-punk'; bands like Joy Division, Gang of Four, Pere Ubu, Wire, Magazine etc. It always made me feel depressed for some reason.

There are SOOOO many that, without cheating and looking, I know I'm missing most, but I love the whole Bauhaus, Love and Rockets, Peter Murphy, Tones on Tail chain, as well as the Electronic, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, New Order, Yaz(oo) people.  Then there's the Cure and Siouxis & the Banshees, A Flock of Seagulls, Gary Numan, the Church, Camouflage, A-Ha, Focus, B-52's, Berlin, Bolshoi, Japan, Celebrate the Nun, Bronski Beat, Tears for Fears, Simple Minds, Buggles, Icehouse, English Beat, the Jam, Dubstar, Devo, Cutting Crew, Echo & the Bunnymen, Psychedelic Furs, Eurythmics, Annie Lennox, Everything But the Girl, Fixx, Information Society, INXS, Lunar Crush, Men at Work, Modern English, Morrissey, the Smiths, Mr. Mister, Oingo Boingo, OMD, Pet Shop Boys, Peter Godwin, Pixies, Peter Schilling, REM, Ramones, Republic Tigers, Romeo Void, Roxy Music, Brian Ferry, Sisters of Mercy, Sneaker Pimps, Talking Heads, Thompson Twins, 'Til Tuesday, Trans-X, Ultravox, Vanessa Daou, Violent Femmes, When In Rome and at least 100 others - LOL.

That's another one...I had a 6-track 12'' EP with that song on it, and the other 5 were belters too. That was one of my 'getting ready to go out Friday night' records, along with ZZ Top 'Stages', Greg Kihn's 'Jeopardy', INXS 'Need You Tonight' and a few others...ah, happy daze..

LoL, I have those same CD's.........just wasn't my "Friday Night" ones. The crowd I went clubbing with (in Vegas) were more into dance music and I just went with the flow.....
It's funny, all the guys were always hopeful in 'scoring' that night, but generally came home empty handed. They always knew to find me at the black jack table (after 30 min at the club) as I knew I had better luck at wining there.
