I suddenly had an old song I wrote pop into my head last night (originally 12 string acoustic guitar and vocals), that I want to record. But I do not have a place to record acoustic guitars Will have to find a way to do that..

I also have a similar problem in recording acoustics.......fortunately, I have an acoustic/electric (classical/nylon string) I can plug in. I'd love to have a 12 string...someday.
 
In the meantime (for steel strings), I use Indiginus SMIV (which is quite easy and sounds pretty good).

Oooo.....that's a very nice guitar. Yes, I'd definitely get the batteries charged up and don't keep her waiting. :)
Of course it won't replace the 12 string, but.....
 
I have this: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/TC132SC and love it.......sounds very good plugged/recording in Sonar. The only thing is the neck is quite wide, and it's a slight bit of adjustment from playing the electric.

I also have a Seagull 12 string, that I could try as well through one of my preamps (piezo pickups on that guitar).

Mine sounds amazing playing it (live anywhere), but haven't tried it properly in a recording situation.
It's 18 yrs old, and is probably ripe for trying something else than playing in my living room
