Going to open a chilled pale ale and watch Crimson Peak, and you? Must be early afternoon there.

Yes, it's afternoon here and quite hot/humid.........a chilled anything is good right now, but I might pick up on HamNEgz suggestion and try that tonight.

Bapu, working on anything new? (sum monkeys are getting in wrestles)

Good evening, folks. Hope all is well. I Am having myself a well deserved beer o'clock after having the in laws here.
Have my 8 year old nephew visiting for a week as well. Will try to teach him a few guitar chords while he's here. He wants to learn

Nice!! I've also been teaching my 9 yr. old daughter to play the guitar......it's a bit challenging when they're not motivated to go though a little practice pain, but she's persevering. She's really enjoying learning EZ Keys (watching the TUTS and doing the same thing).....she needs to teach me now. :))

How was your weekend with the 12 string/DAW setup?

On a good note....I'm done with work!! :)
Will catch up later....

I didn't come far regarding the 12 string / recording, but it is freshly stringed. My DAW is up to full power again, so all is well on that end. Running smoother than ever
I put a guitar in each of my boys rooms when they were quite young, and told them I was ready to teach them when they wanted to learn to play. It took some time, but they eventually came and asked
I believe that I already told about the oldest at home asking me to come with him to purchase his first (payed with his own money) acoustic guitar, and ended up with a Fender steel string guitar He thought of it as an investment.

He made a fine choice with the Fender and I also agree in letting them come to you when they are ready to learn. The best way is to lead by example and just play it regularly because you love playing......

I'd really like to find a classically trained, little old lady who can teach my girls piano and voice lessons......they just seem to be few and far apart.

Good to hear your DAW is up and running..........that Win 10 is the best version IMO.

Enjoying a good cup of morning brew from my newly acquired AeroPress. :))
