There was a story up here recently about some big criminal conspiracy involving double dipping on bottle/can returns. Like these guys had a legit recycling thing going on but would accept bottles from ANOTHER province that had already paid out and these dudes would get the run through the return thing in the new province to get the deposits.
They made it sound so refined and sophisticated in the news but I could not help picturing THAT Kramer/Newman episode except maybe played by the cast of the Trailer Park Boys.
Classic Canucker dunderhead scheme. lol
