The weekend was good.
My oldest grandchild/grandson is off to Army boot camp today (Sat was his going away party). I remember he being born. It was a family affair in the delivery room. I'm happy for him in that he will be trained to be a mechanic and if he decides to leave after his three year tour he'll be employable in just about any city he decides to live in.
Good for him. A very honorable thing to represent and defend one's country!! Finally, I can have a good/honest mechanic to come & fix my car......til then, bicycle, bicycle, I have to ride my.....bicycle.
Glad you had a god weekend......away from the usual......typical.
I'm also glad the long nights of studying are over....
Tonight, we celebrate by going to a new opening of the Texas Roadhouse (steakhouse) in our area......yummmm steak!!
