My 4TB Samples drive (3.63TB actual) only has 1.29TB free.

My 1TB Projects drive (921GB actual) only has 324GB free. That drive is backed up with Crash Plan (cloud) and an external USB drive.

I'm hoping to get all the data off of the old, small hard drives so I can donate them to Free Geek (along with two external hard drive bays (a one-slot and a four-slot).  That will make things simpler around here and get rid of all the ATA drives which require the bays to use them.

I've got an old laptop connected directly to the Comcast router.  I'll attached external drives to that so it can upload to my Amazon Cloud Drive at the best speed possible 24/7.  Eventually, I should finally have my data archived off-site (i.e., in the Cloud) with local backups available too.  I think I only have about 2.4 TB of data (OS's, software, docs, pictures, videos, etc.) that isn't music related.  The vast majority of the space is taken up by my music that's not at 192 kbps (i.e., what I created the 192 kbps versions from).  Usually .FLAC since that took up less room than .WAV.  I'm glad it's my music collection that's large and not a movie collection!

I used to get nasty migraines.  They definitely DO NOT respond to the usual headache remedies of rest & relaxation.  In fact, if I feel one coming on and lay down, when I wake up (usually not much later) it is FAR worse.  So, step one for me was to immediately take a couple Excedrin Migraine tablets as soon as I thought I might be getting a migraine.  At this point the medication is effective, if I wait too long, all medications, acupressure, tapping and relaxation techniques are pretty much worthless and I just have to sit up somewhere in agony for hours (lying down makes it worse).

Then I found out that many migraines are actually food allergy related.  One that just kills me is some kind of spice.  It might be Thyme, but I'm scared to test for it!  The other for me is more of an excess issue with dairy products (especially cheddar cheese).  I love lots of dairy products but, sometimes, just have too much and that's when I get the migraine.  Switching to lactose-free milk and cutting way back on cheddar cheese has made a TON of difference.  I've read that there's something about cheddar cheese that is different than other types of cheese and many people get a reaction from varying amounts of it.  The lactose-free milk has other benefits for us bachelors too.  It lasts MUCH longer than normal milk (like two months compared to a few days - and it doesn't get lumpy or smell either)!

I hate to suggest it Ken, but it's possible that some ingredient in the beer you're drinking might be causing your migraines.  Maybe try a different brand for a while?  (Notice that quitting is not an option!)

I have migraine at the same time year after year. Almost every year in September / October and February / March. It lasts from a few days, to several weeks / months. Mine are almost certainly from my neck injuries an bad shoulders.
As to beer, I should have migraines in the summer and not the winter half of the years. I never drink when having migraine, so last night was a mistake on my part. Luckily I have medicine that works now. It is like a insulin pen, but with migraine medicine. It works every time in under 5 mins, and then I usually fall asleep for a while.
But thanks for your thoughts
