G'day, folks.
I just finished putting up my drumkit, and played it through SONAR with EZ Drummer Metal Basic kit

How do you like it?

Now, when you jam along with Ramstein, the neighbors won't get that (live drums) concert experience?

I haven't put carpet under yet, so I slid around on the floor playing But it's goodanough for me
I have tried to play out of my monitors, so the neighbours might get more than they'd like
But really looking forwards to getting to use it on my own stuff
Plus I'm getting IK ARC2 in a week or so
If I take the migraines away, this has so far been an excellent week

Does carpet actually work for you?  My kick and hi-hats slide on carpet, just not as much.  I've got the little prickly dealies driving into the fiber...still doesn't stop them.

But you know what does?  Screwing them down to a piece of plywood.  And it works out since that means when I break down and set up I get my pedals and stands in the perfect spot, right where I like them.

Just a suggestion....enjoy!

I was bolted to a sheet of plywood once and left out in the rain.

Today, they call that "bad parenting."

I have some velcro under the kick and the hi hat, so it's not so bad.
But I'll try your suggestion. Sounds like a god plan.
Just wondering how much alterations i'm "allowed", since on holidays, it's my oldest son's room
All the best.

I'm always impressed that drummers can do the same thing over and over and over and over and not get board.

1) I'm Impressed that Voda actually visited the FSF and posted a "true" helpful post (well done, we aint never seen the likes of ya'll in here)

2) I'm even more impressed at how quickly Voda looped his drums posts to get the TOTP.

Impressive I say!!!
