Interestingly, a lot of gamers like to have that triple screen layout and Razer makes pretty good video gaming gear. Not sure how many can afford a triple screen laptop like that.......until the competition catches up and prices come down.
...

Haven't met any that are that crazy, but it makes sense if you are a "farmer" and/or "two-box" the game with a 2nd account.

But there are some things that would help in some ways in a big game, like WoW. For example, on a raid with 25 some folks, having some information is handy, and having that information on your main screen running on top of what you are trying to see, makes things hard. If you are a healer, you can see on separate tools, the amount of healing you are doing compared to the other 4 or 5 healers in the raid, and you can adjust keystrokes, to ensure that you can amp up your healing a bit. Having those utilities try and fit on the desktop that you are playing makes the attention span of what you are doing much smaller, thus a double screen, or a different GUI, would be in order, but still takes a bit of effort and attention span to know what to do with the information ... which is the best part of it.

"Farmers", are people that bring up their account's characters to farm some specific things, be it metals, plants or what not, and then just sell them. And for the most part, "two-box'ing" these makes sense, since you can go here, and there is a flower to pick (for Alchemy and Potions and such) and a metal over there, and you can go on for a long time, and get very healthy along the way.

For music, just like the gaming, I think that too much information ... and you forget the music. Now, I don't see how you can be concentrating on the quality of your playing and listening, when the main thing in front of you, is, literally, almost preventing you from listening to it and making little teeny weenie adjustments that make the playing smoother all the time. I suppose it's possible, but I doubt that anyone running those 3 screens is a professional ... you have to be able to get away from the screen, so to speak, and play ... at least that is what I imagine.

I keep thinking about me when I'm writing ... I don't need the screens next to me when I am doing that, to know what I wrote ... I'm concentrating on staying on this second right now, and take it to the next second, and looking at the screen, breaks that concentration ... and this is what I mean "focus", and leads to "intuition" because you find small nuances, and moments that allow you to color and make a moment even more special ... go listen to Steve Gadd a little and I guarantee that most of that drumming has nothing to do with computer. It has to do with your feeling towards the very moment ... and you took it.

My phone frequently logs in and does things without my knowledge.

At least, I think it does. I don't really know.
