The simplicity and the musical fun Factor that Project 5 brought to the table is what is missing in SONAR

Yepper, I believe that's it!  As far as a blank sheet of paper goes, the clean interface is less intimidating than Sonar, or any other full featured DAW.  Less distractions to your inspiration!

Plus the box it came in was really cool too!!!

Funny thing, I had been moving some of my unfinished P5 projects into SONAR....

I never thought I would see the day that Sonar joined Project 5 in the dustbin of history.  Sad...

I know. But I've been using P5 plenty since they stopped supporting it.  Hopefully I can get as long out of SONAR.

I'm fairly certain that P5 will never be released in 64-bit now.

wait n see, the source code itself has value / is an asset, to the right group... though obviously it's better with certain folk like Noel going with it , if it goes to a new home. I could quite understand if him and the other are a bit jaded / fed up of things.. hopefully the new year, will be the start of newer positive things the them all.

where i work has had "issues" like many very large companies over the years, but it's slowly getting turned around.. tricky when it's not such a small company, not like an ocean liner can't turn on a 6 pence / quickly (like a london cab)

Yes , I feel the same way ...I'm still a little PO'ed about P5 hitting the dust bin ....even after all this time ...
I'm sort of numb at the moment as to what just happened to SONAR ...
When the feelings do surface , I may need to invest in another 20 years of therapy

Hey, maybe Bandlab will offer a chance of resurrection.
