Make the install of ASIO4ALL optional ... it is also installed (optional) with other products (like FLS) and may create version conflict. Just a suggestion ... I don't us it so it's not a problem for me.

TTBOMFK ASIO4all is not part of any SONAR or CbB installer.  I do not believe SONAR has ever installed an Audio Driver.  Thta would be part of your Audio interface installer.

That is probably true, but I saw it blinking by in the process of installing BA/CbB ... maybe it is part of the BA ? I definitely saw something to the effect of "Installing ASIO4ALL for CakeWalk" during the process.

Not here I did a search of my machine after you comment and there is no trace of ASIO4all on it.

If it had of been installed or it had tried to install it would have been removed for sure.

This is a little issue, but it would be nice to have fixed/changed.

Currently, muted midi notes display in thr track's "promoted" view.

I find this counter intuitive as well as misleading.

Maybe an option as to enable/disable this action?

So, after finally downloading and installing the new version and composing a few songs in it, I can honestly still say that I don't really have any complaints.  Everything still works as it should, and I don't really have any fancy or specific wants/needs.

However, and I don't know if this has been mentioned (I have seen it posted elsewhere), the "Clean Audio Folder" function has never really worked.  Either I get an error message and it doesn't actually clean the folder, or it will freeze and sometime crash the program altogether.

Also, I remember that ages ago, the pattern draw brush in PRV had pattern polyphany/patterns removed.  Is there any chance of that making a return?  It's not as much of an issue now that I use a lot of prepackaged loops, but it would still come in handy once in a while (when there's not a loop I like) so I don't have to manually input a zillion notes or do a ton of copy/pasting (is a real PITA for those of us who do a lot of stuff with double-bass drums and blasting patterns.)

Edit: Words

I would also like to add that I would like to be able to tap tempo without having to launch the tempo view from the views menu...

I think that it would be nice if there was a function like Studio One 's scratch pad. If possible, I would like a system that can be shared among multiple projects.

By the way, of course there are planned to be officially available for Japanese language?

OK Wookie, I got a messy brain and no black box ... so I guess it is a non issue. I haven't actually seen any trace of it either :)

When erasing the middle note in the triplet, the notation becomes strange with missing number 3.
I hope this fixed soon! thank you!!!

I don't think you are going to get what you expect because it is not correct.  If you were to remove a middle note from a 16th note triplet, why would you expect  two 16th notes and an 8th note rest, and why would you expect it to be a triplet still?  Unless you forgot to mention that you also deleted the 32nd / 16th dotted tie as well.  But even then, you wouldn't keep the "3" as that is not a triplet.  You would never mix note lengths in a triplet.  The current notation you see is correct.  If you wanted it to maintain the triplet, then I would think the correct way to do it would be to have 2 16ths and a 16th rest.

My desires are fairly simple.

1. Similar to audio folder which audio clips/tracks files are saved to automatically, a midi folder that midi clips/tracks are saved to.
2. Similar to Pro-tools, for gain editing of selected sections of audio clips, which also visually re-sizes the display of selected section of waveform, so easily comparable to adjacent sections  (and/or in volume automation, which visually also resizes waveform display)
3. Lock button to lock track controls, or right click option to lock individual track/console controls (i.e., fader/pan etc., anything that may be inadvertently changed by scrolling).
4.  Meter parameters settings globally in preferences menu (albeit using "lenses" one may retain these and other global preferences).

Cheers

Everyone needs are different but I think there are some improvements which are General and need to be done firstly.

1. The most important thing is more stable behavior while loading lots of VSTis. For example 20 instances of Omnisphere 2.

2.More inteligence while dealing with MIDI tracks for example in Cubase when you load a multitimberal VSTi and then add MIDI tracks one by one or at once, the outputs asign automatically and effortlessly. Also Activating the VSTi audio outs are much easier in Cubase !!!!

3- Cubase has "Chord track" and "sampler track" which are very useful.

4- While Sky light is great, a more modern look with sharper and slicker windows will be appreciated

5- MIDI work improvement, less crash while working with soft synths
