The staff view can use a lot of updating:

1.  The ability to correctly display dotted and tied triplets, and the ability to display triplets down to the 32nd note.
2.  Fixing the clunky "mouse insertion" method of inputting notes on to the staff so that notes get put exactly where the composer intends them to be (relative to the beat).
3.  Improving search functions, i.e., finding all the controller 7s in a given track quickly.

Given that these issued were not repaired for decades when Sonar cost hundreds of dollars to buy, I have no reason to believe that these issues will get repaired given that Bandlab is giving the program away for free, but I am completely open and ready to be surprised.  I've moved on to Digital Performer and up to speed with it now.   But if Bandlab does get serious about the notation editor, I am ready to consider using Sonar again, which I did use for 25 years.

Thank you,
Jerry

Would you mind increasing the character limit for VSTPlugins folder by 10 Or more characters please. I have tested this with others daws and this is not a windows restriction.

Iam sorting all my plugins out and Platinum wont scan vst folders if the characters are over a certain amount.

Example : Effectz folder > Compressor folder > Type of compressor folder > Compressor maker folder > Compressor.dll

Hello, I just did a fresh build, fresh Win10 install, fresh Splat/CbB install.  Couldn't have gone smoother, actually.

After all was said and done, going to run CbB and setting up all the preferences, I realize how great it would be if the preferences, layouts, screensets, etc were stored in my Bandlab or Cakewalk profile.  Then after a fresh build, or reinstall/repair, those settings can be imported easily.

A scalable gui would be nice, then I could see more than 2 tracks at a time in my laptop.

Another option would be Cakewalk having an 'export settings' function where everything you just mentioned is saved as a single file which Cakewalk can load, but that wouldn't be as convenient as it being on the cloud.

Not sure what your seeing here. I use a Surface Pro and by far CW has the best Windows experience of the three DAWs tried. SO3, Reaper, CW.

The windows 10 scale options doesn't seem to make any difference to the size of the gui. I want to scale it down as everything is too big. Something similar the the way Bitwig works

Want some mobile features:
Ableton link support;
Remote control app;
What about iOS apps like momentum, scratchpad and z3ta?

As I work a lot with MIDI in the full Piano Roll View, I often find myself staring at an empty grid with no MIDI notes to be seen. And all those times I have to zoom out and scroll around in order to find those MIDI notes.

When in Track view, shortcut key F currently resize vertically so that all tracks are visible. Shortcut key Shift+F resize horizontally so that the full width of the project is visible. Perfect.

In the full PRV I would expect similar ways to fit content. However, it doesn’t work like that. Sure, in the PRV’s View menu there is an item called Fit MIDI Content so it is indeed possible for a user to manually assign e.g. the shortcut key F to that command in the PRV. But there is no way to do that horizontally using any menu or keyboard command.

So in short, I‘d love to see the shortcut keys F and Shift+F having similar behaviour in the full PRV as in the Track view: fit content vertically and horizontally respectively. That would be a great starting point for further zooming in and editing.

Consistency is king.
